El 21 de Junio del 2012 nuestra campaña de Kickstarter culminó exitosamente!

Kickstarter es un sitio web de financiamiento público para proyectos creativos. Kickstarter ha financiado una amplia gama de esfuerzos, que van desde películas independientes, música y cómics a periodismo, videojuegos y proyectos relacionados con la comida. Kickstarter toma un 5% de los fondos recaudados; Amazon cobra un 3–5% adicional.  A diferencia de muchos foros de recaudación de fondos o inversión, Kickstarter renuncia a la propiedad sobre los proyectos y el trabajo que producen. Estos fondos fueron recaudados con la finalidad de poder realizar un viaje de surf que nos permitiera recolectar el material necesario para realizar 3 Killas y un Kiwi. En este viaje Simone, Sofia, Ornella y Paige profundizaron su amistad y pudieron compartir lo que mas aman hacer, surfear.

On June 21, 2012 our Kickstarter Campaign was fully funded!

Kickstarter is a crowdfunding platform. The company’s stated mission is to help bring creative projects to life.  Since its launch, more than 5 million people have funded more than 50,000 creative projects, such as films, music, stage shows, comics, journalism, video games, and food-related projects. People who back Kickstarter projects are offered tangible rewards and special experiences in exchange for their pledges. This model traces its roots to subscription model of arts patronage, where artists would go directly to their audiences to fund their work. Kickstarter takes 5% of the funds raised.  Amazon charges an additional 3–5%.  Unlike many forums for fundraising or investment, Kickstarter claims no ownership over the projects and the work they produce. The funds raised were used to with the goal of making a trip that would allow us to gather the material necessary to make 3 Killas y un Kiwi. In this trip the 4 main characters of the film, Simone, Ornella, Sofia and Paige were able to  deepen their friendship and share their passion for surfing. 

Este trailer fue el primero que se realizó y su fin fue promocionar la película y conseguir los fondos necesarios para culminar el proyecto.

This trailer was the first one ever made,  its purpose was to promote the film and  help find the necessary funding to finalize the project.
